Laurie Feligioni and Eric Zemmour: An Artistic Collaboration Over Time
Working with Eric Zemmour is always a highlight of my year. We have established a fruitful collaboration that extends over time, a creative synergy that flourishes with each new project. This time again, for the shooting of his new campaign, I had the immense pleasure of doing his models' makeup, a challenge that I embrace with passion at every opportunity.
The Fusion of Hair and Makeup
In our collaboration, the dynamic is clear: Eric brings his incomparable art of hairdressing, and I complement his work with makeup that must be both trendy and sophisticated. For this campaign, the goal was to create looks that reflect chic and elegance, but with a touch of modernity that characterizes Eric's unique style.
My Makeup Philosophy for the Countryside
For each model, I chose shades that enhanced their natural beauty while highlighting Eric’s dramatic hairstyles. I used light bases for a fresh and luminous complexion, accentuated by bold touches on the eyes or lips. For example, a graphic eyeliner for a captivating gaze or a colored mouth to add a deep dimension to the look.
Advanced Techniques for an Impeccable Result
I have implemented advanced techniques, ensuring that each look is flawless under the spotlight. Skin preparation is essential, it must be impeccable so that the makeup lasts throughout the shoot. High quality products are used to guarantee this long-lasting effect and so that the photos reflect exactly the atmosphere we want to give off. I break down all my main techniques in my Complete Makeup Training if you want to know more.
Collaborating with Eric Zemmour is an enriching experience that always pushes me to exceed my creative limits. Each project with him is a chance to reaffirm our commitment to excellence in the fashion and beauty industry. I am excited to see what the future holds and how we will continue to innovate together in this fascinating world.
