The Magical World of the Chopard Fashion Show at the 77th Cannes Film Festival
Today, I am excited to tell you about an exceptional experience that transported me to a world of glamour and magic: my participation in the Chopard fashion show during the 77th Cannes Film Festival. This prestigious event took place in the magnificent setting of the Hôtel Eden Roc in Cap d'Antibes, with an enchanting fairytale theme.
To mark the 77th Cannes Film Festival, Chopard orchestrated a spectacular runway show featuring 77 models, each adorned with sumptuous jewels inspired by fairy tales. This enchanting setting was the perfect backdrop for a celebration of elegance and beauty.
As a professional makeup artist, I had the honor of working alongside twenty other talented makeup artists to enhance the models of this show. This collaboration was a great opportunity to exchange techniques and participate in a large-scale project. This was not my first collaboration with Chopard, it is always an incredible experience!
Here are some lines I followed:
- Radiant Complexion: A luminous and natural complexion was essential. We used illuminating bases and highlighters to achieve this perfect effect.
- Enchanting Look: The eyes were the central element. We used eyeshadows in pastel shades and left the eyelashes quite natural.
- Romantic Lips: For the lips, we chose nude and pink shades, bringing a touch of romance.
Every detail was carefully checked to ensure perfection under the spotlight. The makeup had to reflect the elegance and luxury of Chopard jewelry.
Participating in this show was an intense and enriching experience. Working in such a prestigious setting alongside talented professionals was inspiring. Seeing the models walk down the catwalk, resplendent with beauty and elegance, was the ultimate reward.

This experience illustrates the importance of technical skills and collaboration in the profession of professional makeup artist. In my Complete Makeup Training , I teach not only makeup techniques, but also time management, product organization, and coordination during major events. We also cover the rates to apply for different services, thus preparing our students to excel in this demanding profession.
The Chopard fashion show at the 77th Cannes Film Festival was a memorable adventure, full of magic and glamour. Being part of a project of this magnitude is always an exciting challenge. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to live this experience and to be able to share my passion through my training.
