Makeup for Alexandre Grimaldi – A Dior Campaign for ODDA Magazine

Today, I am sharing with you a memorable and prestigious experience that took place recently. I had the immense honor of being the professional makeup artist for an exceptional photoshoot with Alexandre Grimaldi , the son of the Prince of Monaco, for a Dior campaign. This session was done for ODDA magazine, a must in the world of fashion.

A Fusion of Luxury and Sport

The concept of this Dior Ski campaign was to marry the timeless elegance of Dior with the dynamics and energy of winter sports, all in Monaco. Alexandre Grimaldi, with his allure and natural charisma, perfectly embodied this fusion of luxury and sport.

My Role: Professional Makeup Artist

As a makeup artist, my role was to enhance Alexandre's features while respecting the sporty and sophisticated spirit of the campaign. Men's makeup requires a delicate and precise approach, aiming to enhance the natural appearance without overloading it.

For this shoot, the goal was to create a natural and fresh look, reflecting the effortless elegance and ruggedness of winter sports. Here are some key points of my approach:

• Complexion: I used a light foundation to even out Alexandre's skin tone without masking his natural skin tone. A touch of mattifying powder was applied to prevent any shine under the spotlights.
• Eyes: A light concealer has been applied to brighten the eye area and erase signs of fatigue, while maintaining a very natural look.
• Lips: I opted for a discreet moisturizing balm to keep lips well hydrated and naturally beautiful.

This experience also highlights a key aspect of my Complete Makeup Training : men's makeup. In this module, I teach how to approach men's makeup, focusing on techniques that enhance natural features without overwhelming them. Students learn how to work with specific products and adapt their skills to various skin types and occasions.

This shooting with Alexandre Grimaldi for the Dior campaign was a real honor and an enriching experience. Working with renowned personalities and prestigious brands is always a source of inspiration and challenge.
