Leslie Dasc for the Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet

Today, I am delighted to share with you a particularly special and moving experience: the creation of Leslie Dasc 's makeup, famous influencer and long-time friend, for her first ascent of the steps at the Cannes Film Festival . It is an emblematic event in cinema and fashion, and having the opportunity to sublimate Leslie for this occasion was a true honor.

The Cannes Film Festival is synonymous with glamour, elegance and exclusivity. The red carpet is one of the most anticipated moments, where celebrities shine brightly. For Leslie, this first red carpet was not only a milestone in her career, but also a dream come true.

As a professional makeup artist, my goal was to create a look that reflected both the sophistication of the Festival and Leslie’s bright personality. We opted for a natural and slightly glowy makeup, with subtle touches that highlight her beauty.

It all started with a discussion with Leslie to understand her expectations and preferences. We reviewed her outfit and the overall theme of her appearance to ensure that the makeup would perfectly complement her look.

For this makeup, the focus was on freshness and elegance. Here are the key steps of my approach:

• Complexion: I used a light, illuminating base to even out her complexion and give her a fresh, glowy look. A light contouring was added to sculpt her face in a natural way.
• Eyes: For her eyes, I chose iridescent brown tones to create a soft and captivating look. A few rhinestones were delicately placed at the corners of the eyes for an extra touch of glamour, perfect for the walk up the steps.
• Lips: For the lips, we opted for a glossy, subtle and elegant mouth, bringing a shiny and chic finish to the whole look.

Doing Leslie's makeup for this event was particularly emotional for me, as she is not only a client, but also a dear friend. Seeing her radiant and confident for her first walk up the steps was a moment of pride and shared happiness.

This experience also illustrates the importance of the skills taught in my Complete Makeup Training . Learning how to create looks for prestigious events, working with high-quality products and adapting techniques to each individual are essential elements of this training.
