A Glamour Shoot for L'Officiel Baltic at the Martinez Hotel in Cannes

Today I am delighted to share with you an extraordinary experience that took place in one of the most prestigious settings of the French Riviera. I had the honor of participating in a photoshoot for L'Officiel Baltic at the legendary Martinez Hotel in Cannes . This event was marked by a perfect fusion of glamour, haute couture and makeup artistry, creating spectacular images that will soon be unveiled in the pages of the magazine.
The Setting: Martinez Hotel in Cannes
The Martinez Hotel, an icon of luxury and refinement in Cannes, served as the perfect backdrop for this shoot. The sumptuous suites and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean added a dimension of grandeur and sophistication to each shot.
Outfits: Haute Couture and Glamour
The models were styled by some of the most renowned designers, including iconic pieces from the Courrèges brand. The bold and elegant outfits were chosen to capture the essence of modern glamour while paying homage to the timeless heritage of haute couture. Luxurious textures and innovative cuts enhanced the models’ every move and pose, creating an exquisite visual harmony.
My Role: Professional Makeup Artist
As a professional makeup artist, my role was to complement and accentuate this artistic vision through makeup. My goal was to create looks that not only complemented the outfits but also highlighted the models' natural beauty.
Shooting progress
The day started with a briefing session with the stylists and the photographer to understand the overall vision and expectations of each. Then, I prepared my products and equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient makeup application.
Makeup
For this shoot, I opted for bright and iridescent makeup, perfect for high-resolution shots. Here are some highlights of my performance:
- Complexion: A fresh and radiant complexion, achieved by applying light and illuminating bases, as well as buildable coverage foundations for a flawless finish.
- Eyes: Captivating looks with iridescent, glossy eye shadows and precise eyeliners, creating an effect of depth and mystery.
- Lips: Subtle touches of iridescent pinkish beige nude or gloss, depending on the outfits and style desired for each model.
Photography
Photographer Jeremy Jakubo captured magical moments, immortalizing every detail of the looks in breathtaking images. The play of natural and artificial lights highlighted the work of each artist present.
This shoot for L'Officiel Baltic at the Martinez Hotel in Cannes was an unforgettable experience. Working alongside talented stylists and a dedicated production team was truly inspiring. Each makeup look was a piece of the collective artwork, contributing to a beautiful final result.
